Establish a new Satellite Network Base that will operate to improve the efficiency of rail maintenance in the Greater Sydney region.

SOLUTION

Vantagespace successfully established a new Satellite Network Base on site the existing Sydney Trains depot in Lawson.

The project involved a new fitout of the administration & amenities building, refurbishment of the existing workshops and stores warehouses, installation of a new perimeter fence, new signage, and revitalising the surrounding grounds with new landscaping.

The administration & amenities building fitout and refurbishment involved a complete strip out of the existing internal walls and ceilings, construction of new partitions, linings and ceilings, as well as a mezzanine level, and fitout of 15 offices/meeting rooms and 4 bathrooms.

As part of the project, it was important that Vantagespace met the heritage requirements and retained the visual integrity of the old building structures.

Vantagespace completed the project on time, within budget, and met all heritage requirements, enabling the new Satellite Network Base to quickly establish its operations.
